Owen Barry was established in 1948 The origins of Owen Barry Ltd can be traced back to the 1800s. Based in Street, Somerset in the West of England, five generations of the Barry family have been involved in the tannage and manufacture of sheepskin and leather. Founded 60 years ago Owen Barry Ltd have been carrying on this long tradition of craftsmanship, working with some of the worlds leading designers and retailers creating beautiful sheepskin and leather garments, accessories and lifestyle products. All their products are made of 100% real suede, leather or sheepskin, the skins used coming from sustainable sources and is tanned in rigorously controlled tanneries. All effluents are disposed of in environmentally friendly methods.
